Default Hello

Hi, I am new here and looking for some support with my severe depression. I can't find my way round this place, I posted a question previously and now can't find it, so don't know if anyone replied. I really am desperate to get out this black fog that is now my life. I want to go to the chat room as I long to chat to someone, anyone who understands. I need 5 posts, do I just write anything to be able to chat, I don't get it ! Can anyone tell me how this site works I get lost , there's so many forums. Anyone care to explain ? I so want to talk about my depression, but where do I post ? Please help me. Thank you.

Default Hello lady zero

Welcome to Neuro Talk. We are glad that you joined us. As far as navagation goes, just take it a day at a time. It is easy, just takes a little time. Up on top of this page is a search bar. Tap on it, and write in Depression or any other illness you are dealing with. it will take you right to that forum. You can also Private message someone, but tapping under your name in the top right hand corner. Most of us who have real close friends develope PM alot. Talk to whoever you want, join in on any conversation, and feel relaxed here. Many suffer from depression and we all gain support from each other. I have walked that dark tunnel too, and it took alot of good people here to help me get out of the depression. I still have bouts, and come right back here for help. You will meet some really good souls, that have compassion. The moderators on this site are fantastic, and have lots of information. Alffe, helps people with depression too. You will be cared about here, and hopefully receive some helpful information, to help you cope. I am here for you too, anytime you want to talk. ginnie

Hi there:

Welcome to Neurotalk.

Are you taking anything for your depression? Do you have clinical depression, or post traumatic stress, or did anything trigger this depression. We are here to listen in case you wish to write about your problems. We are a very caring compassionate group of people who help each other out. Might take some time, but others will respond.

Again, Welcome!!

Melody

Hello! Nice to meet you. I think, you can consult your doctor about taking anti-depressant pills. But, having some outdoor activities and going out with your family and friends can help you cope and not being depressed.

Smile Hello Ladyzero!

WELCOME to NT !

This is a wonderful place of support and understanding.

Make yourself right at home! Feel free to post in any of the forums. You'll find a caring soul around every corner and it's a very down-to-earth atmosphere.

Just holler if you need help finding your way around or have any questions.
Regarding tracking your posts, there are a couple of ways to find the posts you've made. Click on your user name next to any post you've made. A drop-down box will appear and you can click on "find more posts". OR, if you go to your user page (profile page, home page) you'll see a box saying "Statistics". Click on that and you can see the posts you've made.
Hope this helps

It's great to have you!

Rae

Smile Brand new member here.

Hello everyone, I'm very happy that I found this sight. I can always relate and give and receive support in our mental health situations.
Being a bipolar person for the most part of my life, that I can remember, it's nice to not feel alone. One thing I'm trying to understand is that you can still lead a productive life with this disorder. I love examples of famous successful people who have bipolar and work with it in their life. Medication works for me thank goodness, but I still have bouts of bipolar bringing me down.

I would love to have people share as many people they know is bipolar and dealing. Like we all are, one day at a time

Welcome to NT

So sorry you have depression to battle. It is a hard fight.

Don't worry. You're not alone here. Lots of people suffer from depression and co-conditions that add up to a bad day.

NT is a great place to find support and information.

I hope you are finding your way around a little better.

Take care... (BW)
