Attention New member needs help SCA

My son is 7, adopted internationally last year with a DX of CP. The geneticist does not think he has CP, instead he thinks he has spinal cerebeller ataxia. We have not tested yet. I am still in shock from the news.
His symptoms are, odd gait, slurred speech, poor eye tracking, drooling, tremors.
After reading about SCA he does have most of the symptoms. We have no information about his biological family.
The geneticist will be doing further testing obviously. I am looking for support, and information about SCA. Also any help on what else I can do besides testing?
His MRI was perfect, and he has got a little better with him symptoms in the last year that we have had him.
Anyone who has helpful information will be truly appreciated.
