Frown Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension/Pseudotumor Cerebri

Hello! My name is Brittany Bryant and I am 24 years old and a mother to 1 earthly child and 1 angel baby.... I have IIH/BIH/PTC whatever you want to call it... I had a shunt placement on June 1, 2012 and a shunt revision surgery on June 26, 2012. I have been even more miserable since the placement. I do not have a valve w/ my shunt and I am beginning to think that it is over draining at times and underdraining at other times! I can't even work anymore because I am so sick all of the time.. I am just looking for other people in my area that have the same condition that can relate to me! I am supposed to go to Emory in Atlanta, Ga in December but at this time I am unable to go b/c I have no insurance on account of my husband lost his job. Thank you so much for your time! I hope to meet some other people that can relate with!
