Laugh New to blogging

Hey

I have never blogged before but thought this would be an excellent place for me to start. I suffered a TBI in 1995 in a car accident. I was in a coma for 8 days. Needless to say I suffer from short term memory loss. It has gotten to the point that I had to give up my career as a pharmacist. I've been unemployed for over a year and it has been horrendous. I no longer know who I am, the worst part is now I am essentially retired and I don't know what to do with myself.

It doesn't help that as a result of my TBI I am now bipolar and suffer from chronic insomnia. I don't know which is worse. It's a dead heat.

I am writing because I need to know I am not alone in this. I barely know two survivors but we never communicate. I thought this might be better. I hope to find some support and answers from other survivors
