Default gabapentin

Just joined today. I have started on the medication gabapentin to address back and leg pain. I broke my back over 40 years ago in the military and had a fusion of L5- s1. As I have aged I have had increased back and leg pain. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this drug, either positive or negative. I have been on 300 at10am, 300 at 4pm, and 600 at 10pm for a few weeks. I have so far gotten moderate relief. Thank you.
