Default Great to meet you all!

My name is Leisa, I live around Houston and I have had Fibro for about 25 years. I am a nurse and am currently working as a research nurse. My fibro finally got to the point where I had to take a desk job, but I love it and am so thankful that I can still work in the field that I love.

Married my BFF 1 1/2 years ago. Between us we have 8 kids and 12 grandkids and 2 adopted rescue dogs.

I'm trying to balance my desire to be active with my exhaustion from fibro. It seems to get more difficult every year, but I'm an optimist and a fighter and will not be brought down without a fight.

Excited to be a member of this forum to hear about what works for others and what does not. I know fibro is not a one size fits all in symptoms or in treatment but information/knowledge are weapons that help us fight the good fight!

Looking forward to the journey!
