Default I'm new at this.

I'm a grandma that just got her first Mac, so this is all very different to me. Just wondering if I should see surgeon again to fix my cervical issues or suffer with them. I'm not sure what a tag is or how this all works.

HI MamaGiz,

Yes u might want to put something like neck pain or spinal issue in your title. I had acdf surgery on my neck in 2010. Have u had surgery in the past? What kind of symptoms are you having now? I will try to help but not sure what kind of problem your having --we have alot of people on the board with spinal issues like gatorhead, leesa.me and ginnie who had surgery and-- I know would jump in as well to help. I would suggest to re-post . The memebers on this board are very nice and informative and supportive of eachother.

Default Chronic Back Problems

Hi everyone! I have had back problems for the last five years. I have three bulging disks at L2-3 L3-4 and L4-5. I have tried many steriod injections and three weeks ago had RF Ablation done on three nerves. Unfortunatly the procedure totally did not work. My pain is so much worse than it was before the procedure. I was wondering has anyone had any weird side effects from the RF Ablation? I don't even know if its possible but a couple of days after the procedures the palms of my hands have become week and in pain. Both of them in the same place I can't grip anything with my right hand at all without pain shooting in it. Has anyone else had that reaction? Anyone with any information would be helpfull. I go back to the PM Doc on January 3rd and I am going to let him know how dissapointed I am that this did not work I am done with injections and RF Ablation. He actually told me that this had worked on 100 percent of his patients right. Ok well thanks everybody for listening to me.

Smile Hello dkeyes!

Welcome to NT!

Sorry to hear of your chronic back problems. Most of us understand what chronic pain can do to our lives.
You've come to a wonderful place of care and support.
If you haven't already found it, here's the link to the Spinal forum. I think you'd get some good feedback there:
