Welcome Kelly, Sorry you are having back surgery. I'm not sure what forum on neurotalk you are looking for. I am on the RSD part of it. There are several different sites for different health issues. So support, you might mention which one you want to join in. You will get lots of good information and support.
Hope all goes well with your surgery. Let us know when it is and how you are doing. loretta

Smile Hi Kelly!

Welcome aboard!

You've come to the right place for support and understanding!
Darlene has pointed you to the Spinal Forum. You'll get alot of good input there.

This is a very down-to-earth atmosphere, so make yourself right at home.

Please stick around so we can know how your surgery goes.

Caring,
Rae

What kind of back surgery are you having? Husband has had two spinal fusions, most recent with rods and screws inserted in spine a year ago. Now he is going back under knife to have them removed due to the extreme pain of the rods on his spine.

It took 6mos with his spinal fusion to heal and recover. He was in a back brace for 5mos...

Post Back Surgery

Hi Kelly, I'm new here too. I do not know my way around or even if I'm replying where I should. I have had four back surgeries, including one with and 8 hole titanium cage. All the surgeries have involved my spine. If there is something specific you are wondering about I'll be glad to let you know of my experience. One thing this site has shown me already is that we are not alone!
