Default is it atypical trigeminal nuelgia or not

helo my dear frnds...i am from india...my age is 22 now..here is my medical history
2 years back i started having a dull ache at right side of my head..which became constant and lasted forever.i have seen many doctors for this condition but it doesnt go away..last october i went to a nuerologist who put me on anti depressant and anti siezure medicine.

i took it for a week had a very bad reaction to it.
now the pain which was only concentrated around my right eye has now taken a new form.
i am now having pain which is at one side of my face .including ears ,lower jaw ,right eye etc.sometime i have pain at back of my head.
the pain is something like constant aching.
i came across something called atypical trigeminal nuelgia whoms symptoms are very similar to mine..so do anyone out there can give a correct explaination of what has happened to me

Smile Hello shriraj!

Welcome to NT!

I'm sorry you are having this pain, especially since it got worse after being on those medications. I can imagine how frustrated you must be!

This is a wonderful place for support and understanding.

Come check out the Trigeminal Neuralgia forum. Here's the link to take you there.

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...aysprune=&f=26

You'll get good feedback from others, plus there's alot of good information at the top section of the forum, called the 'Stickies'.

It's great to have you here!

Caring,
Rae

thnks evryone for your support...
2 days back i had soo much pain that i was not able to open my mouth..my jaw hurted a lot.
i went to a dentist.he said i hav an impacted wisdom tooth..which can probably be the root cause of all my pain because people dont get TN at such a small age....so i ll wait some more days to check if he is all correct....hoping for the best

Default Hello

I am new to the this site and am so excited I have found it. I have already read so many posts of people that have or are suffering like me and I'm not happy that they are but I am happy to know I am not alone in this awful disease.

Thank you,

Kim B.
