Hi - I have been suffering from pain, tingling, numbness in my
left leg for almost two years. My physician diagnosed sciatica. I have been to doctors, physical therapists, and an acupuncturist. Have tried several drugs from Naproxen to Oxycodone. The latter is the only one that helps at all. Was very depressed about the continuing pain and am taking an antidepressant. Today I saw a doctor at the New England Spine Institute who thinks I have meralgia paresthetica. Am going to try a TENS unit and go for an EMG. I hope to get some help as my big loves, gardening and hiking, are very difficult now. |
