Smile Old member to new forum or New member from old forum :-/

Hello Everyone!

My name is Lon (or you can call me Diffie). I have a condition called hydrocephalus and have formed a non-profit called the Association of Adults with Hydrocephalus. Can anyone tell me if there was a previous "version" of these forums? I believe I may have been a member previously. The name of the forum sounds familiar but the look and feel are somewhat different. This version seems quite a bit more user friendly. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say that I look forward to participating in discussions here.

Very Best,
Lon

Hi Diffie and welcome to NeuroTalk

You may be thinking of the old BrainTalk forums. We formed in 2006 when they had a major server crash and were offline for some months, with loss of their old database. After they came back up, many of us liked it here so much, that Dr Grohol (DocJohn) turned our temporary home into a permanent one, with our own unique look and feel.

all the best

Welcome to NT. We're so glad you found us!

I don't know, but maybe one of the administrators can check back to see if your name still shows up. Not promising anything, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

Here is a link to the hydrocephalus forum:

You will find lots of friendly people here. Feel free to take a look around, read posts, and jump in wherever you would like.

Smile Hi Diffie!

Welcome!

I started out at BT, but the Good Lord directed me HERE.
So much great support and genuine care here.
The Administration does a great job of keeping this a safe, strife-free atmosphere.

It's great to have you!
