Default I Won the Lottery!

Catchy title right? not as good as it sounds though. My names Hunter and im 18. I was diagnosed with Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia about a week ago but have been dealing with all the pain for about two and i really got to say. im not diggin it.But let me start from the beginning. I had very very VERY bad suicidal depression and crippling anxiety for years on years, due to an emotionally abusive stepdad and drugs(pills) that made my social life none existent. Then i caught West Nile Encephilitis, something I will also live with for the rest of my life, off and on. That causes vomiting and headaches galore. And now i have this neuralgia? great. Ive already dropped to the ground and smacked my head on the concrete and im starting to get an impacted jawline from biting so hard from the episodes. So as you can see I must have drew the winning lotto card on crappy diseases. But I look forward to hearing your replies and making new friends here, i could just really use some friends who understand. My school has alienated me, they dont believe me and neither do most my teachers. I just need some friends

Default Welcome

Hi Hunter,
Welcome. I am so sorry you are suffering this at such a young age. It sucks at any age though. Many of us are very depressed and have days we feel suicidal all the time. Please feel fee to talk to us. You will find support without judgement. You can usually find me in the traumatic brain injury or chronic pain section. Feel free to send me a private message anytime you need to talk. I know what it feels like to have people not believe you. Try to keep a sense of humor. Try to learn meditation. And stay away from negative people. You do not need their opinion. They have not walked in your shoes. I have found this group to be a lifeline for me. My prayers and thoughts are with you and with everyone on this site. I wish I could ease your pain and depression. I am here for any of you anytime. Love to you all. Try to have a good day today.
