Default Hi Everyone

Hi there

I'm new to neurotalk and what a welcome discovery. I suffer from IIH and have since diagnosis in February 2009. In Sept 2010 after lumbar punctures every six weeks from diagnosis I had a VP shunt fitted (programmable) since then I have had 8 or nine revisions (I've lost count), lost three jobs and am now about to register disabled. Sounds all doom and gloom but its not. I'm a cheerful soul and don't let much get me down, although sometimes my health wins that battle but only temporarily. It is wonderful to find others with the same contraption as me and hear their stories - suddenly I don't feel do alone!

I look forward to reading and contributing as well as making new friends.

Meanwhile I wish you all - love, life and happiness

Hi Samantha

Just wanted to stop by and say hi. My name is Melody and I have diabetic neuropathy. I deal with it. I just do the best I can. I've been lucky. My arthritis is much worse than any neuropathy I might have.

You have found new friends here. I wish you better days ahead. You have a great outlook and that is half the battle.

All the best.

Melody
