Hi people, I am a newbie being only diagnosed with neuropathy 3 weeks ago after a period of 10 months of being unstable on my feet, balance etc. I seem to be getting worse every day and don't know where to turn. My neurologist gave me muscle relaxant pills and I ended up collapsing with no strength in my legs. Had to call the ambulance and went to hospital for 2 days. I don't know whether to exercise and if so what. Prior to my collapse I had been exercising at a mini gym doing strengthening exercises particularly for my legs pushin weights and hamstring exercises. I would fall out of the car wehn I got home finding it hard to walk. I had been active up until 10 months ago dancing etc. I just cannot believe what is happening to me, The neurologist said my neuropathy was a weakening in the nerve endings to my legs.
The consencus seems to be to exercise strongly but I aw wary. Has anyone tried acupuncture?
