Default Hi there new to site

Hi there
I came across this site while searching for a support group for cadasil but was hoping to find one in Australia. Does anyone know of one in Australia? I was diagnosed with cadasil about 9 months ago after having a stroke like episode with a migraine with aura and I ended up spending 11 days in hospital... They had no idea what was wrong and tested for cadasil and 6 weeks later I was diagnosed. My sister and mother have now both been diagnosed. My sister has had no episodes of aura but she has had migraines. My mum had 2 strokes just after I found out I had cadasil and last week she had her 3rd stroke which has severely disabled her. I would appreciate sharing any stories/experiences of cadasil with anyone. Thankyou Tania

Hi there, Welcome

Australia is a BIG place. Are you looking for a support group that you can go to personally, or an online forum?

Take care, Melody
