Default New Here!

Hello all, I just stumbled upon this site this am as I have been gogle-ing a bunch lately about chronic neck pain and such. This site seems to have a bunch of great info and I'm sure I will be spending a lot of time on here! Happy Easter everyone!!!

I just got my CT results and I need an interpreter...lol frustrated cause I see all these words with the words "minimal" or "mild" or "small" in the description, yet I am suffering every day!

C4-C5:small posterior disc protrusion w/o central canal stenosis
C5-C6:mild right posterior lateral disc osteophyte complex formation and a small posterior disc herniation, resulting in minimal central canal stenosis and effacement of the right lateral recess.
C6-C7:tiny posterior central disc protrusion and minimal posterior disc osteophyte complex formation with minimal central canal stenosis.
C7-T1:minimal posterior disc osteophyte complex formation without significant central canal stenosis.

I am waiting to see the specialist...but why am I in sooooo much pain if everything is so minimal? I have zero movement in my neck and intense nerve pain all down my left side of my back and down my left arm into my wrist. I'm taking pain killers just so I can continue to be a mom and live a somewhat normal life!
