Hi Guys! I'm new to the website. Joined because my husband was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 48 years old. He now has a VP Shunt, inserted in Oct. 2012, and has had all kinds of problems since such as: severe headaches, tingling around top of head, increased agitation and anxiousness, difficulty concentrating, short term memory loss, fatigued, and feels like in a fog most of time. Has had his shunt adjusted x 2 in Feb. with no help with symptoms. His Neurosurgeon now thinks it is caused by seizures and is sending us to see a Neurologist that specializes in adult seizures. We don't see him until April 9th. I think this is a great place to talk with people who have the same things going on as you do. I'm hopeful to talk to some other shunt people to see if they have the same symptoms. thanks!!

Hi hon.

My name is Melody and I wanted to welcome you. Your hubby is very lucky to have such a loving wife. I bet you take very good care of him. You sound very compassionate. Not easy I know. I wish you well and know that you are in my prayers.

Keep posting. We are nice bunch of folk here.

Take care.

Melody

thanks melody for the welcome! I love your dancing flower! I am the lucky one to have a husband like mine. I just feel sooo bad for him cause he feels bad and is getting very frustrated and depressed. Your right I am having a hard time dealing with it all. I'm used to helping sick people all day and there seems to be nothing I can do for him right now. I try to stay strong, He needs me now the most. Thank You again for the thoughts and prayers. GOD BLESS YOU!!
