Default Left Arm/Shoulder pain

Good afternoon all...

I am new to this site and hoping I find some answers. I have been having left arm and shoulder pain for years and it gone undiagnosed all this time. Let me start by saying I have a neurological disorder called neurofibromatosis which causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Inside and out. I've had all the tests done for this pain including MRIs, CT Scans, EKG, Echocardiogram, stress test, even a mammogram. All of which came back "normal."

I do however have several tumors in my T4-T5 and T5-T6 region. My pain mgmt Dr sent me to a surgeon. The surgeon sent me back claiming my tumors were not the reason or my pain. Do any of you have similar pain coming from this area? My pain dr seems to think that there may be tumors in the brachial plexus area but are too small to show up on the scans and not pressing the nerves enough to show on the Nerve Conduction Study he did. Sounds like a guess to me. I've tried taking Neurontin and Lyrica for the pain. Both were started at the low dosage. Both made me feel loopy and disconnected. Now he wants me to try Cymbalta and a TENS unit. I still feel like he's guessing.

Can anyone help me with similar stories? I know they have boards for my neurofibromatosis, I've posted there as well. But since this is neurological I figured I could try here too.

Thanks for listening.....
