Default Scared of the Unknown

Hi all - I'm new here. I'm 41 with 2 small kids and I'm scared. About a month a go I had a lot of pain in the back of my legs (thighs) when I woke up. Since then it has progressed from my arms and legs (both at the same time) falling asleep at night and being fine during the day to muscle weakness in may quads and some in my arms. I went to my primary doctor and he ran blood and a CT all were fine. Then I went to the neurologist and he is running a MRI. - But of course it takes 2 weeks to have that done. So I'm waiting. My fear is what will I be like in 2 weeks? Right now I can't even run thought the yard with my kids without feeling like I ran a marathon. I am so scared. Of course I've read too much and diagnosed myself with either MS or ALS. I'm trying not to be so anxious but when you know there is something wrong with your body and it takes so long to get doctors appointments and tests completed. I'm so frustrated and worried not only for myself but my family.
