Default New here with Partial Complex Seizures

Hi I'm Dean and I'm 63 years old. I have been diagnosed with this for over four years but just this month went on medication ( Topiramate ). My seizures have been somewhat mild and have refused medication until my Neurologist threatened to take my driving license away. The side effects of the meds are horrible. Here is my question for somebody. I get the sz only in April that coincides with my allergies. I can count on it every year. They go away in the summer and winter.

Hi Dean, and welcome to the community! If you haven't found it yet, here is the forum for Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum11.html If you browse through the threads, you'll likely find someone who has something in common with you!

Sometimes it's a little slow here on the weekend, but someone will be along that can help you more specifically. This is a good place--you'll find support and advice here.
