Book 15 years living with head injury effects daily

Hello all, I have found this forum most useful the last few months while waiting for my ssdi remand to happen.. I find people here most encouraging and helpful so i decided to join. My name is "eastwood" as I would rather not dispose of my real name as of yet.

I was involved in a truck accident when I was 17, the vehicle was traveling at 90mph..it lost control and flipped several times I was trapped in the vehicle for an extended period with my friend that lay beneath me holding on to last bit of life.
I felt the presence of life leave my friend as I lay with the most horrific blast type slash to my frontal region of my head expanding from top right forehead to my lower temple area. It did not fracture my skull but it was one hard blow and has changed my life and how i live, how i react and how i am as a person.

I have come to seek advice on help to move forward because I am realizing something did happen that day not only emotionally or spiritually but something deep in the waves of my make up as a person. Daily I am greeted with constant itching and pain that travels the whole top region of my head, I have debris that cannot be removed under nerves around scar tissue that would make my whole brow droop over my eye,
most of my mornings are like small comas awaking from and thrown into a blurry haze of a day where the itching and nerve redness and pain will soon greet me. I need help figuring out what is wrong with my head besides Trigeminal Neuralgia‎ diagnosis.

I am trying to see Neuro help as I cant really afford neuropsychology treatment now. It seems as if not many believe me it seems as if people think that it was so long ago this should not still effect me.
