Hi. I discovered NeuroTalk today and the second post I read was by someone who had exactly the same set of symptoms I have. It is such a relief to know that there is a whole community of people who wouldn't look at me blankly if I talked about twitching toes, feeling like barbed wire is wrapped around my toe, electricity, numbness, snaky under the skin sensation, etc.

I injured my L5/S1 disc when I fell in the gym almost 3 years ago, had surgery that didn't help, and things keep getting worse. But my spirits are pretty good and I'm working on staying positive no matter what happens.

I'm glad to be here.

I have been here a few weeks and it is great to have people to talk to that listen. I have found that docs have a problem listening many times. Glad you are here. Hope you find it as helpful as I have found it to be. I am still struggling and finding my way around but beginning to get the hang of it. I posted in wrong threads at times but people forgive me. Welcome aboard.
