Default Greetings

I've spent many hours over the past several days on this wonderful forum and am very appreciative of all the information available. I'm in the process of being diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. Many years ago I had a year of burning pain on my soles. This was concurrent with a dx of plantar fasciitis, which dx I was never really confident in. It then cleared up until about 18 months ago when it came back, sporadically. Recently it has become much more severe, and areas of baldness have developed on my legs. My regular doctor sent me to a podiatrist and my present concern is whether this is the correct specialist to handle this situation, but I will post this question to the PN forum. Thanks to all the participants here for this great resource.
