Default Hello all

well here i am, awaiting surgery. I am only 50 years old and have some sort of narrowing of the spinal canal, I cannot remember what he called it, But my surgery is going to be removing bone in t2,3 all the way to T6,7 to open the canal up again and de compress?
I guess they called it, my spine. so I guess like everyone I am terrified of the surgery and more terrified if I do not get it, I went from being healthy but overweight, to using a walker full time now, My surgeon says it will not get any better after surgery, But there will be less risk of it getting worse, as I am sure everyone was as I was shocked to hear this.
