Hi,

My name is Sue. I am so happy to have found this site. I have had RSD type ll for 8 yrs. and no one really understands how I feel. It will be so nice to talk to someonewho understands.

Thankyou so much!

Welcome, Sue. We're happy you found us, too! Have you explored the different forums yet? I must confess I had to google RSD to get an understanding of what you are coping with. I see that you have found the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy forum. I'm sure you will find the support you need there. It's always nice, isn't it, to have someone to talk to who is going through the same thing you are.
Hugs,

Default Thanks

Thank you Lois for your welcome. Just reading about other people like me is helpful. ( I just wish no one else had this terrible nightmare) But communicating with people who do not judge and think your crazy makes me feel so much better. There are no support groups in my area. I live in Western Ma. The Drs. and nurses at the pain clinic are the only ones that seem to know what Iam talking about. Thank god I was lucky enough to find a good Dr. Sorry it took me a long time to reply. My hands do not always work so well and it is hard to use the computer.

Sue

I was so pleased to read that you have Dr's and nurses you like. That is so very important. There are many who post here that have had their Dr's tell them they're crazy, it's all in your head, etc. I'm sorry you have such a rotten condition to have to deal with, but I'm very glad you have a definite diagnosis. So many are in diagnosis limbo. I'll have to drop into the RSD forum from time to time and see how you are doing.
Hugs,
