Hi, I am having surgery on sat 20th to replace c5/c6 disc in my neck, and stumbled across this site looking for info re op. I have to have surgery done because of bone spurs hitting spinal cord and causing numbness, pain, and severe headaches. has anyone had this op? my problem is ongoing for 18 years and i have limited power in both arms and hands. I guess I would like to know if anyone who had this surgery has got power back in upper limbs? how long does the surgery last and how long is the recovery? think i'm also looking for reassurance that i'm doing the right thing by agreeing to surgery:
