Hi there,

I'm new here and have been reading members' posts for a while now, desperately trying to find someone in a similar position to me!!

I'm Phoebe, I had anterior/posterior fusion to C3/C4 last March following a serious car crash. It has been a very 'interesting' journey for me since he accident and I'm currently experiencing a low mood and chronic pain.

My main difficulties are getting comfortable and dealing with the nasty side effects of my medication. Unfortunately, I need to stick religiously to my drug use as if I'm late in taking my medication, my neck and shoulder pain returns in a vengeance

So, I can completely understand where you're coming from.....it's not a position to be in but I'm always hoping that things will get better...however, on the flip side, I'm constantly worrying that I may require similar surgery at a later date as I'm only in my early 40's.

Big hugs to you and it's great to meet you :-)
