Smile Tos

I am going to have my right upper rib removed on Thursday. I have been dealing with pain and numbness for the past 8 years. I should glow in the dark for all the x-rays, MRI's, CAT scans and who knows what else over the past 8 years. I have gone threw I don't know how many different DR's to try to see if they can "FIX" me. Well I think I may have finally found him. His name is Dr. Duvall. He is a Cardiothorasic surgeon. He is considered one of the best at LSU Hospital in Shreveport. All I know is that he is my blessing from GOD. I don't know if he has ever done this surgery before but I feel like he is the one Dr that can "FIX" me. I have to acknowledge another Dr that finally saw just how frustrated and in true pain I was really in. His name is Dr. Mosura. He is a pain management Dr. He could have kept me strung along for months or years (like other pain management Dr. did) but he didn't. He got on the phone and talked to Dr. Duvall after my first appointment.
I have been reading different threads on this site and I am excited and apprehensive at the same time. I'm overweight and the most activity I do is clean house or mow the lawn (riding lawn mower) I plan on doing good after the surgery but you just never know. I am lucky that I have a good support team. My husband and my sisters will be here to help me. I hope to hear from other TOS sufferers so I can get some knowledge about what to expect. Thank you for letting me vent. I'm so glad I found this site.
