Confused feeling very alone

hello everyone..
I to have this horrible disease, I got into a car accident 8 months ago, did all the tests for TOS and were neg., Seen a surgion about bracial plexis compression, which is what we thought it was. As all of this was going on my PT noticed my left hand sweating all the time and brought up RSD. My pm doc dismissed it, as he did not think that is what it was. In the mean time the pain in my whole upper left extremity has gotten worse. I went for an IME for the insurance company and guess what? He had no question that it was RSD. The doc who is for the insurance company, was on my side. I have had 3 SG nerve blocks, first one lasted 3 days, it was wonderful, needless to say the next 2 did nothing. I have gotten super bad headaches since these blocks, which the doc says is stress, I do not buy that for a minute, I had the same stress before the blocks. I am on tons of med's, I know my liver loves that. lots of depression. I am looking for anyone with any advice, or who just wants to chat about RSD, as lots of people do not have a clue what we are going through.
thanks for listening

Welcome, Jippersgirl Nice to meet you. I'm new here also, so we can learn the ropes together. I see you've only been going through this junk for 8 months... it doesn't surprise me that the depression is still bad. Rest assured, though, that it DOES get better. I have had rsd for 14 years, started in my right ankle but now involves both legs. You really DO learn to cope better, I promise. Just hang in there and stay strong!

On the upper right side of any page, you will see a dark grey box that says "Welcome, yourscreenname". Right below that box, in white letters, it says "chat rooms".... right-click that, so you get another page and can still surf the site on this one. I'm in the first room, The Lounge. It's the only one I can get into, lol! I have heard a rumor that you might not be able to see that I am in the chat, due to my having changed themes... but I can't figure out how to change it back, so please come on in and see if I'm there and just invisible.
