Default What is wrong with me?

I met a lady today who asked me if I had tos. I was in a mva last year. I now shuffle when I walk. I can't lift my arms up very far. I can only get my right arm up to wash my hair. My arms are very weak, I can't push a pool noodle under the water. My fingers swell and tingle. Sometimes my thumb and or index finger move involuntarily. I have a constant headache. I have pain everywhere but the worst pain is under my left breast radiating to my back where a bra strap would be. I have no firm diagnosis. I was told I had a concussion whiplash and rotater cuff injury.
I would welcome any help or suggestions.
Thanks Redcat

I have Fibromyalgia and have many of your symptoms. Maybe you should be checked by a rhumatologist for this disease. There is a blood test that can be given also. Good luck. Just a suggestion, but be sure whom ever you go to, they know a lot about Fibromyalgia. Blossom25

I have had Fibromyalgia since 1991. This is nothing like the way I was before the car accident. I can't climb stairs, I have to physically lift my leg onto the step and then drag the other behind. I can only do three steps and they have to be under seven inches. I can't reach into the cupboards that I could before the accident. I had long hair before the accident but can not look after it with only getting one hand up to my head. I used to walk 1- 2 hours a day, now I can barely get next door. I am so slow I would not be able to get across an intersection even if I had 5 stoplights to do it in. I can't pick up my feet to drive a car. I still go to the YMCA 5 days a week unless the insurance company has me going to another assessment.
Thanks for your thoughts.

RedCat, I feel so bad for you. I can't believe you haven't been diagnosed for all these problems. They are so distinct. Good luck to you and God Bless you!!!

I would feel so much better if I had a diagnosis.

I'm sure you would Redcat. I remember before I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia how frustrated I felt. Especially when the Dr. tells you it's all in your head. Blah Blah Blah. Mayo clinic in Scottsdale, AZ.diagnosed me.. I was so relieved to have a diagnosis so I had something concrete to deal with. So, I know how frustrated you must be. I wish you luck and many Blessings.
