Default Hello Everyone

In 2005 I received a diagnosis of a rare brain tumor: acoustic neuroma
The tumor was removed 2.5 cm. close to the brainstem. I am recovering and learning to live life and regain health everyday.

Are there any members here who have had this experience?

I have right side single sided total deafness and am interested in learning speechreading, lip reading, and possibly sign language.
The right side of my face slightly droops, as the 7th nerve was severed.

Glad to be here and able to join in and support each other thru our journeys.
So, pleased to meet you and wishing you all a good evening.

sincerely
