Default I wanted to introduce myself

I found NeuroTalk while looking up where to give and receive support for mental illness. I see that these forums include a wide array of issues and problems that individuals are seeking support for. I hope that I will be able to help others feel supported and cared about from not only those who are here for the reason I'm here but for potentially anyone. I feel shy about discussing my problems in specific details. I have become fairly reclusive. I no longer dare to trust others anymore. I have been so severely disappointed with people as a whole, besides my immediate family members. I am even hesitant to publish this introduction. I realize that compared to some, I have revealed very little. I am glad to meet everyone. Thank you for reading.

Hi, rednails, and welcome to the community! As you can see, we have several forums devoted to various "types" of mental health issues. Here is a link to just one: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum85.html

One of the many great things about this place is that you can reveal as much or as little about yourself as you choose. Some folks jump right in with both feet, so to speak, and others take a while before they feel comfortable sharing. It's a good place.
