Struggling to manage this condition. I take a high dose of gabapentin, but it is not very effective. My primary care doc is unsympathetic, and the pain clinic referral takes forever to get an appointment. Results in productivity problems at my job, relationship pressure, depression, more pain... a vicious cycle.
Has anyone figured out how to deal with this and keep a "normal" existence. I've somewhat accepted living with pain as my "new normal" and figured I'd take one more look to see if new treatment options have been developed. It's great to find this forum, and to not feel alone. Thanks for creating this! |
