Default New, need help please

Hello, My name is Cassandra and I am 28. I believe I am having simple partial seizures. I am scared out of my mind. I have 2 young kids (5 year old son, 1 year old daughter) and they need me.

My first "episode" happend when I was 9 months pregnant with my son. I was getting into a serious argument with my husband and all the sudden I felt lightheaded like I was high, then a deja vu feeling came, it was like a television show I had watched but I couldn't remember where or when, that lasted 15-20 seconds then an onset of nausea and I vomited.

I get them every 2-3 weeks. But sometimes I will go a month or two between them. They are always the same symptoms. I get scared of not knowing what is going to happen next. Like a grand Mal seizure. I can talk during the episodes. It happens sometimes when I nurse my daughter, play on my cell phone, or watch tv. I have seen my doctor and he wants me to get blood work done. I am very anemic. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Please help, am I going to die by this?

Thanks in advance.

Default Hi Cassandra

Welcome to Neuro Talk. I know you are scared. I don't think you will die from this. You could indeed be so anemic as to cause some problems. The first thing to do is get to your primary care physician. Keep a journal of what happens and when. Describe everything. Your best bet is to tell your physician and don't delay. You will be OK. All of us here will be here for you. You found a good site for friends to get you through the hard times. Take care of those babies, and call your doctor tomorrow. Get some sleep tonight too, and hug your family. I will keep you in my prayers. ginnie
