Default New guy

Where do I start?

In late October 2013, I contracted some type of infection that placed me in the hospital for a week. My white blood count basically bottomed out so I had no immunity to infection. Since then, I have been experiencing vertigo-like symptoms. The dizziness has progressed to the point where I am sometimes worried about standing because I feel off-balance and am afraid I will fall or pass out. I have a Tilt Table test scheduled to see if this is low blood pressure related. I also have testing scheduled with an ENT as my doctor thinks it could be Meniere's Disease. I guess what I am wondering is if any/all of this could be tied together or if anyone has any ideas as to what could be going on with me.

My white blood count will not stay in the normal range without Neupogen injections. Concerning the dizziness,I have most of the symptoms of Meniere's Disease but I am pretty certain that the blood issue and the dizziness are not associated unless someone may think otherwise.....HELP....Any input is appreciated

Default Hello there Heid200 :)

Just wanted to 'pop' in and say Welcome to NT !

The only thing I know about white blood count is that they watched that very closely while I was going through chemo.....I did take the neupogen shots but probably could have got away without them. For some reason my white count seems to be higher than normal....just a little.

The people on this site are wonderful and caring people. I'm sure someone will come behind me that can give you some good info.
