Frown just joined and looking for info and or support for a sub arachnoid brain hemorrhage

Hi there
I have just joined the forum and recently had an aneurysm that burst and was tolld by the hospital doctors that I had a small bleed in my brain..now due to my ignorance of how serious this is I then signed myself out of hospital and have researched this condition and came to realise how moronic that I have been.
I had taken amphetamine powder which I haven't done since my teenage years ans suffered from what I now know as thunderclap and admitted myself straight to hospital and waa assessed and due to my polycycstic kidneys I was given a brain scan .this was on a Friday night and I stayed in hospital till the monday ans then left the hospital by means of signing oneself out against the doc and nurses advice. ..this happened on th 7th of march and I left hospital on the 10th of march and I have a follow up appointment for a scan tomorrow to assess whether an operation is necessary.
Now that ihave spoke to and researched my condition iam now very scared and emotionally numb.
I was wondering first and foremost if anyone can tell me if an operation is inevitable as my anurysm bled which makes it a sub arachnoid hemorrhage and as it's already burst will I defo need surgery . The bleed was located in the front cortex of my brain but I feel fine at the moment aoart from my underlying anxiety about what may or may not be in front of me ..please help thanks

Hi harrybhoy,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

I see you found the Aneurysm Forum.

I'm sorry you've gone through such an awful experience and I hope that your hospital/doctor visit and subsequent treatment or surgery goes well for you.

Take care of yourself.
