Default really hope you can help

For a couple of months I've had occasional flashes of memories so vivid they could have happened minutes before, but when I try to concentrate on them, I realise they make no sense and that they're not actually memories. After a while, I can remember virtually nothing about them.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups!

Do you have any other health conditions? Epilepsy? Sleep Disorder?

I would speak to your doctor about it just for reassurance.

Default Hi Dave

Welcome to Neuro Talk. I suppose if it were me, I would have to seek a neurologist. Since memory involves the brain and its function, you want to make sure that nothing out of the ordinary is going on. Mini Strokes, and other things impair brain function. Glad to hear no drugs are involved, that will make it better for you when you do go see someone. Keep a journal of this unusual dreaming right when it happens. Keep pad and paper near by. That way when you go in, you will be able to recall exactly what was going on at the time. I wish you all the best. ginnie

Not on a statin drug, for "high" cholesterol for instance?
