Heart Mom has PCS, and BPOS

Hi,

Around two months ago, my mom walked into the garage door carrying groceries. She didn't pass out but was definitely dazed. She tried to walk it off, but she had severe nausea and dizziness (though did not throw up or bleed from the nose/ears, fortunately). She went to the doctor a few days later and found she did have a moderate concussion. No MRI or CT was done, but the symptoms remained: severe headaches, occasional dizziness, sound/light sensitivity, and pressure in her ears and behind her eye. She rested for about 1 week.

Anyway, she has only recently returned to resting, avoiding screens/electronics, activity, and multitasking because her symptoms have persisted, which is why I have come here. I'm looking for things she can take to help her heal. I've recently, through this forum (thank you!) found vitamin supplements to suggest for her to take and have begun researching each to find proper dosages, etc., which leads me to my other concerns. She has Bilateral Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and other conditions, so I have some questions about what would be best to suggest she include/exclude in her supplement regimen (such as DHEA, which I understand is a no-no for those with BPOS?).

I'll be posting this on the Vitamins, Nutrients, Herbs and Supplements forum for thoughts/opinions at some point, but here is what I have planned to suggest so far:

Omega 3 - fish oil, with EPA 800mg and DHA 600 mg or so taken 2 times a day
Folic Acid, at least 400mcg but less than 800mcg
B12 (Methylcobalamin), 1000 to 5000 mcg
Magnesium Malate, about 1000mcg
D3, 2000IU at least

I chose Methylcobalamin instead of some other B12 because of the benefits it gives to those with fibromyalgia. She hasn't been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but her symptoms are eerily similar. She also fights depression (has for years), so I'm hoping with this regimen that might be helped as well.

Suppose I should actually introduce myself now :P
I'm currently a stay at home mom of 3 (one 2 year old, and 1 year old twins). I'm an engineer and so like to know how and why things work.
I live in California and my mom lives in Oklahoma.

I look forward to learning as much as I can from you all so I can better help my mom

Thank you
