Hey new here and to be honest at the end of my tether! I had a fall 18 months ago which has resulted in a shoulder impingement. I have been in severe pain for a long time now. Surgeon is keen to try and avoid surgery so true hydrocortisone injections. Had one 5 weeks ago and have been in more pain than when I first fell and injured my shoulder. Struggling to get pain relief whilst trying to stay in work. I guess I'm just hoping for some support as I feel that no one understands and I feel like I am always moaning. Has anyone else had similar issues? Thanks in advance

Hi Haley,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups! Here is the link to the Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Forum The members there should be able to give you some information and support. I found some older posts there. Repetitive Strain Injury Forum You could also try a whole Forum search using keywords e.g. shoulder impingement or should impingement syndrome or subacromial impingement Forum Search Just post again if you need any help finding your way around the forums. All the best to you. |
