Default New member....OPLL

Hi I'm new to the forum. I was encouraged by my Pain Psychologist to 'seek out' those like me
I was diagnosed with DISH in 2007 and with OPLL in 2008. In 2009, I became paralyzed and had T6-T7 fused with no promise of complete recovery. I had some feeling in left leg but none in right. Through aggressive PT I did learn to walk eventually and regain other bodily functions. While learning to walk I fell countless times but after one terrible fall I had to get C3-T1 fused in 2011. I had to relearn to walk and had PT and OT services. My wound became infected and I spent much time in the hospital and home health care.
I'd like to say I'm better and doing well but I don't lie. I'm living one day at a time and would like to get to know and learn from other people who have OPLL.

Default I'm like you

Hello everyone. I too was recently diagnosed with OPLL, it seems to be getting worse daily but my surgery isn't until the fall. Can anyone tell me if symptoms reverse or just stop progressing? I'm a single mom of three and am so tired all the time. I feel guilty at the lack of participation in their lives.
