Default forward head posture

suffering from FHP since last 20 months, is there any permanent cure for this? using home neck traction and some physiotherapy but still no change.

I'm curious as to why this has developed.
Do you sit at a desk to work or study? Reason I ask is that my daughter has problems that sound similar and she has to be careful with the way she sits when she's studying. For a while her neck was very problematic but she's more aware now and has made some adjustments to the way she sits.
