Confused New and hoping to gain insight

Hi...I'm new to this but I am very optimistic that I will gain the insight and help that I am searching for. I am 41 years old and think that I might be experiencing seizure activity and I am scared to death. I'm going to start from the beginning in hopes that it might help to shed some light on things.
About 8 or 9 years ago I began having these sensations of shaking or trembling inside... not strong but just enough to notice. Occasionally I would experience that my head felt heavy and sometimes when I would go to move my arm or leg or go to get up it would almost feel as if I was paralyzed...I would have to strain and actually have to will myself to get my limbs to move. There were also times when these things would happen that I would have trouble speaking...It almost felt like that feeling you get in a bad dream and you are screaming at the top of your lungs and no sound is coming out. I tried talking to my doctor about this and tried to explain the things I was experiencing and he contributed it to a type of panic attack and said I needed to manage my stress better and that I should be fine. The "attacks" continued off and on over the years without any consistency or pattern lasting a minute or two then I would be done. I tried talking to some of my friends about these and most generally I would get a weird look from them like I was crazy or something, because nobody has ever seen one hit me, I have always been alone or had my kids with me and they were too young to understand.. About two weeks ago I went to the dentist and was the only patient waiting in the waiting room to be seen . I watched the dental assistant pick up my chart and start walkng toward me. and I noticed my head was feeling heavy and felt my eyes start to twitch a little and felt like I was trembling all over ,my vision went tunnel like and just as she called my name I was struggling to move my left arm up high enough to let the assistant know I needed a minute .I attempted to speak but it was difficult to do so and the words weren't coming out.. The assistant called to the back for help and by the time they got to me the "attack" was over . I sat there for a minute to catch my bearings and then felt fine after that. I got up and walked to the back like nothing happened. my vitals were normal and I felt fine. The next week it happened again while I was at work, fortunately the other nurse was with me when it happened and was able to time it and observe my actions. I remained alert thru the whole thing and remember it all I was talking with the nurse about how to take something apart and I remember my eyes going in and out of focus and feeling my eyes begin to flutter and my voice becoming shaky with my head feeling heavy again...That's when she said I stopped speaking midsentence and had a blank stare I remember hearing her and seeing her trying to get me to respond and to look at her. . this is when she noticed my eyes were pinpoint I was trying to speak to her but it was very difficult for me to form the words. I began to come out of it and my words became clearer.. then she says that my head dropped down and I went right back in again. The nurse said it initially lasted 45-50 seconds then started to back off for about 35 seconds and started up again lasting another 55-60 seconds then I came back out of it again. I sat there for a few minutes before attempting to get up and once again I felt fine. I m not sure what my next step is ..Im glad someone else got to observe the attack and give another perspective as to what goes on, I can only say what I feel. All I know is that I don't know much about seizures and I have tried to look up online what I could but have come up with nothing so far... Hoping someone here is able to help me and point me in the right direction...it would help immensely if I just knew what kind of seizures Im dealing with..any help advice insight ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated....thanks for listening......................JodiLynn
