Hi John,
I'm very sorry to hear your news. I lost my Mother to Alzheimer's 2 years ago after a 10 year battle. Damage to the brain is extremely upsetting for it is where the 'I' resides. My brain injury (Stroke/TIA or something else) caused a lesion through my occipital region, affecting my eyes. I wonder every day whether I will have another Event, so I understand somewhat where your thought processes must be.
Anything I can do in the way of support, just ask.
