Default CRPS 2 For 10 years

Hi, just been officially diagnosed with CRPS due to botch surgeries.

I have been looking/researching but haven't quite found what happens after 10 years of damage....meaning, I haven't been treated for nerve damage just band -aids because I complained enough about my pain;

So I've found that after 3 years damage is pretty much set in, so what about 10 years? I spoke to the Neurologist about this, he basically said what everyone else does, sorry about your luck, will try to help you (that's new)but be aware that there is no cure.

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.....

Cool Smirk

Hi Enna70,
Sounds like your new Neurologist is of the supportive kind, I hope he can offer you treatment/meds which will make life tolerable. I am 25 years in suffering severe Neurological Hypersensitivity so I know how constant pain affects all aspects of your life.
But on this Forum I have found support, release and kindred spirits who make coping easier. Try to keep a positive frame of mind, it is a long road but there are always others here to listen.

Dave.
