Default I'm New Here

Hello everyone. I was born with Ehlers Danlos syndrome. On July 25, 2012 I dislocated my ankle walking down a flight of stairs. I reset my ankle and continued to walk on it the rest of my day. The only thing I noticed was different, was that my toes went numb. That evening I went to the ER, and they told me it wasn:'t broken or dislocated anymore, and to get an MRI asap. On August 1st I found out that I partially tore my Achilles Tendon. That led to me developing CRPS. It took almost 7 months before I was diagnosed. I'm just hoping to talk to and make friends with people who understand...

Hello Survivor,

It's astounding how life can change with a single step isn't it? So many stories here are just that. You have definitely found the right place for support and commiseration.

Sending Healing Love,
Littlepaw

Hello CRPSsurvivor,

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

Here is the link to the
Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD and CRPS) Forum

You might wish to repost your message over there.

At the top of that forum are the "Sticky" threads. They're for Introductions, useful websites, information and other resources.

If you're also looking for information on Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, you could try searching the forums. There are posts on a number of different ones. I think there are posts in the General Health Conditions Forum, but try the search feature.

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/search.php

take care there.
