Default Hello to everyone! Im new with lots of questions.

I started having problems approximately 2 and a half years ago.
I used to box from ages 11-13 and 15-16.
During the second period i sparred numerous times and had one fight.. I have never had a ko blow but have got some "nice" hooks to the head.
The symptoms never appeared overnight, it eas a gradual progress. Brain for, depression, anxiety, blockes thinking and some more were the devastating symptoms. Staring mild and peaking at 2-3 months period. I was unable to do literally everything.
The symptoms got very slowly better.
I had hit my head sometimes since, but only very lightly.
Im here because these symptoms are still interfering with my ability to be productive, creative and enjoy life.
Since there are no other factors to be blamed for this, i still suspect concussion.
Can multiple blows to the head cause those symptoms?? Thank you all in advance.

Hello jones,

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

Yes, concussions, especially repeated, can cause those types of symptoms.

There is a busy
Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome Forum

There is a lot of information in what are called the "Sticky" threads at the top of the forum there too. They contain useful websites, introductions, posts on hope and healing, and info about vitamins, etc.. Worth taking a look there.

take care.
