There are lots of reasons you could be having a dry mouth at night.
Some medications make the mouth dry too. If you're taking a particular medication in the late afternoon or early night, it might be the culprit. Some types of illnesses cause dry mouth syndrome. If it's happening only at night you could try using a humidifier or perhaps you are dehydrated.

You could search for Dry Mouth or Dry Mouth Syndrome in the forum search feature

Thumbs up

There are products to help relieve this condition. Biotene is a good one that can be purchased OTC.

They make a toothpaste, a mouth spray, mouth rinse and mouthwash. The spray works well at night when you don't want to get up and do the whole routine of brushing then rinsing. They also make a gel but I have not tried that one.

Here's a link with lots of helpful info: http://www.biotene.com/
