Default Mini stroke followed by 2 Aneurysms.

Hi all.
I am new to this site I have been looking for some body to share my Experience with. Maybe someone has been through the same. In 2011 I had a mini stroke am steel trying to deal with loss of sensation on my right side of my body. I get terrible pains going through my right arm now and again, and can not lift any thing heavy for two long in my hand. I also can not feel hot water so I always have to test things with my left hand. I then found out I had 2 Aneurysm I had them coiled and all went ok. But the pain got worse in my arm only through this last couple of months. I have found out I have 2 more Anuerysm and have to have craniotomy in the next couple of weeks. It is very frightening and I am very worried. Thank you for reading my post.

Hello steph-b,

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

I'll post the links to the Aneurysm and Stroke forums below.
I'm sorry that you're dealing with upcoming surgery but I hope that all will go well for you. It must be a very worrying time indeed.

Cool Smirk

Hi Steph,
While I have not been through what you have, I suffered a lesion in my brain and have similar pain and weakness, but down my left side from injuries and Neurological Hypersensivity.
Damage to our brain is probably the scariest injury one can suffer, I will not know until the end of March whether mine was caused by a stroke or something else. We always worry thst we are going to lose a part of that which makes up 'I'.
Yet, here you have found a caring community, one you can share your thoughts and fears with in the run up to your operation. Try visiting the Sanctuary for an uplifting experience.

Dave.
