Confused post concussion sydrome

Hi, when I turned 50 I fell on my head. After 1month I would blackout anywhere from 2 to 8 days. I didn't recognize anyone and had all the symtoms of altymers. That lasted 2 months. Then it turned to extreme sort term memory loss, paranoia, aggressive behavior and what disturbed me the most is my brain felt like electricity was running across it and like it was swelling up. I take buspirine and lamectal which help somewhat. It's been 2and a half years since this happened. I have no sense of time, and had to learn how to speak, dial a phone and all the things I've done a million times. I still can't. Live on my own. I guess my question is do I have to learn to live with this. Will it ever go away or will I be dependent the rest of my life. Can anyone tell me?
