Default Chiari and Tourette's

Hi Everyone,

This is all very new to me. My 9 year old has autism and about 2 years ago he was diagnosed with Tourette's even though he has been experiencing progressive motor dysfunction for the last 3. For some time we all assumed it was related to stress and happened more in the classroom. We recently consulted a neuro surgeon who reviewed his MRI and identified a chiari malformation. My son has such limited information that it is difficult to spot some of the symptoms other than the motor issues. He has always had trouble sleeping and a ton of headaches (I assumed migraines but didn't really know). I read one of the posts on allergy testing etc. How does that help, what questions should I be asking? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

Sarah
